Cheshire Bookshop is located in the heart of historic, downtown Fort Bragg, California.  We are a general interest, independently owned bookstore.  We are dedicated to providing a wide ranging, quality selection of books and book related products to serve the needs of our coastal residents and visitors.  We pride ourselves in offering exemplary customer service and believe that our most important commitment is to support the needs and well being of our community.  

The store was founded in 1973 by Howard Martin and is now owned by Paul and Christine Lindauer. We are dedicated to creating and maintaining an inviting and lively atmosphere for our community of readers.
